Battery service costs
If there is a problem with your battery that is covered by the Apple Limited Warranty, Apple Care + or Consumer Law, we will serve your iPad or Apple Pencil at no extra cost. Our warranty does not include batteries that are unusable. If your battery runs out, we offer an out-of-warranty battery service for a fee.
If you have Apple Care +, it covers your iPad or Apple Pencil at no extra charge if your product's battery is less than 80% of its original capacity. We may need to test your product to find out the cause of your battery problem.
